East Shore Veterinary Hospital in Branford, CT is an AAHA accredited full service companion animal hospital. Our Mission is to provide quality veterinary care for all patients with service excellence to all clients, in a compassionate and professional environment.  East Shore has been providing care to pets on the shoreline for more than 50 years!

We believe in educating our clients so you can make informed health care decisions for your pets.  Our health care recommendations are based on guidelines provided by the leading veterinary organizations such as the American Animal Hospital Association and American Veterinary Medical Association.  You can be assured that you are receiving the most current and relevant medical information.

We offer a wide range of professional services including complete puppy and kitten care, medical, dental, and surgical all done on premises. In addition to cats and dogs, we also see ferrets, rabbits, pocket pets, lizards, and turtles.  Appointments with a Veterinarian or the medical staff are available Monday through Saturday.  We have a wide range of diagnostic tools at our facility including x-ray, blood testing, and microscopy.  In addition, our veterinarians have access to specialists and referral hospitals to provide you with in-house consultations when needed. 

We also have one of the best boarding and pet day care facilities on the shoreline with outdoor play for dogs.  Our central location makes it easy and convenient whether you are leaving your pet for the day or for an extended stay while you travel.  We will take care of your pet as if he was our own.  Some pets are on prescription medications or necessary supplements. Our medical staff will tend to these pets to ensure their proper administration.  Pets can receive a complimentary bath with 5 paid nights of boarding.  Call today for a reservation!
