Is Acupuncture right for your pet?

International Veterinary Acupuncture Society

Acupuncture is now available by appointment!  Dr. Jill O’Callaghan has been doing acupuncture on a limited basis for East Shore over the past several years.  Call for an appointment (203) 779-5801 to schedule a new visit with Dr. Jill or to continue the acupuncture treatment you are currently receiving.  If you wish to discuss whether acupuncture is right for your pet, you can speak with one of our veterinarians anytime during the week.

Dr. Jill O’Callaghan is a Connecticut native. She grew up in New Canaan, CT and graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1997. She then attended Kansas State University where she received her D.V.M. degree in 2002.  She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and has been performing acupuncture on pets for over seven years with great success. She enjoys her acupuncture sessions with her clients and patients and feels that they respond very well to treatments.

Dr. O’Callaghan is also an adjunct faculty member at Middlesex Community College, where she teaches part-time in the Veterinary Technology program. She lives in Guilford with her husband, children, two dogs, one cat and several fish.
