International Veterinary Acupuncture Society

Acupuncture is now available by appointment!  Dr. Kelly Shanley practices Integrative Medicine, specifically Acupuncture, combining TCVM and Western Medicine to maximize patient care. Call for an appointment (203)779-5801 to schedule a visit with Dr. Shanley. If you wish to discuss whether acupuncture is right for your pet, you can speak with one of our veterinarians anytime during the week.

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific nerve centers on the pet's body. Stimulating these pathways can restore energy flow which can result in better pain management, recovery after surgery and improvement in certain health conditions.

Acupuncture can be used as an alternative therapy for many conditions in pets, including:
- Neurological disorders
- Musculoskeletal issues
- Gastrointestinal problems
- Other issues such as kidney, behavioral, hyperthyroidism and more

Make an appointment to find out if acupuncture is right for your pet.
